Knuchel Synthetic resin enamel Brilliant

Brilliant art resin enamel paint is a long-oil, high-gloss, and slightly thixotropic alkyd resin paint with excellent application properties such as flow, leveling ability, and open time. It produces extremely filling, elastic, impact- and shock-resistant coatings with high opacity and good edge coverage. Brilliant has excellent light and weather resistance and offers good gloss stability.

Application area
For high-quality surface protection on wood and metal in indoor and outdoor areas such as doors, windows, chairs, cabinets, furniture, railings, paneling, and soffits, etc.

Pre-treatment
The substrate must be clean, dry (not over 15% wood moisture), and free from sanding dust, oil, wax, and other contaminants. Old coatings should be sanded or treated with a cleaning powder. An intermediate sanding with grain 180−220 can be performed. Do not apply below 8 °C.

Drying
♦ Dust dry after approximately 3 hours
♦ Touch dry after approximately 6 hours
♦ Reworkable after 12 hours
♦ Fully cured after 1−2 days
(depending on temperature, humidity, and film thickness).
