KnockautX Water sensor

The KnockautX water sensor warns you in good time via the app in the event of flooding, water leakage or a change in the weather. It is ideal for use in water tanks, pipes or washrooms.
The sensor can be installed, for example, under a washbasin, at the inlet tap of your washing machine, next to the aquarium, at a damp spot near the window or in the bathtub as an indicator of a water level.

It is also possible to use the sensor for intelligent shading automation. For example, the sensitive water detector can be mounted on sun blinds to protect them from damage by precipitation at an early stage. Thanks to the IP67 protection class and its water resistance, the ultra-compact and lightweight sensor can also be used outdoors. In combination with other KnockautX devices, a variety of individual configuration and automation options are available. For example, in the event of a water leakage, the sensor can deactivate devices
devices that are connected to a KnockautX switchable socket in order to prevent major damage to electrical devices.

Thanks to battery operation, the KnockautX water sensor can be placed anywhere, independent of the power supply. When installing the sensor, care should be taken to ensure that the metal contacts on the underside of the unit come into immediate contact with any leakage of liquid. Based on KnockautX ZigBee 3.0 mesh technology, which is characterised by a stable network, fast response, high security, strong expandability and low power consumption, indoor transmission ranges of up to 30 metres to the nearest KnockautX device are possible.
