Product details

The cherry drawknife is a versatile hand tool that is ideal for various applications in woodworking. With a curved blade and two sturdy wooden handles, it allows for precise debarking of logs as well as the finishing and adjusting of square timbers and beams, especially during renovation work. The blade thickness of 4 to 4.5 mm at the bevel ensures high stability and durability. The standard cutting angle of 25° is optimal for soft to medium-hard wood, while it can be adjusted up to 35° for hard and coarse wood. The drawknife is used in a pulling motion, which ensures controlled and effective processing of the material. If necessary, the knife can be pulled back out of the cut to avoid getting stuck in the wood. This tool is an example of German quality and tradition that has been in existence since 1858.
