It is made from strong sheet steel, galvanized, and blue passivated, ensuring it is Cr6-free. The castor has high chemical resistance to many aggressive media, though it is not resistant to oils. It can withstand temperatures from -20 °C to +80 °C, with a reduced load capacity above +35 °C. The design includes a double ball bearing in the slewing ring and a slewing ring seal, providing minimal swivel head play and smooth running. The long service life is attributed to dynamic Blickle riveting. It features a steel locking foot with a rubber pad and height adjustment via an operating lever. The tyres are made of high-quality elastic solid rubber, designed for smooth running quality, while the wheel centre is constructed from unbreakable black polyamide 6.
