These strips provide a particularly sustainable alternative to edge protectors made of plastic or plastic foam padding. They are ideal for protection against impacts and scratches during the transport and storage of pallets and cardboard boxes. Available as solid profiles for straight edges or with notches for curving edges and corners. The basic raw material is wood, a renewable resource, making it a sustainable single material solution. They can be disposed of entirely in the waste paper with other cardboard or paper, with a 75% rate of return in the waste paper recycling cycle. There is a high likelihood that the raw material will be reused, whereas plastic products used for this purpose are usually incinerated.
