The Solvento Solar wireless sun/wind sensor is designed for sun and wind monitoring via radio, linked with the Markimatik Funk series of awning drives. It is mounted on the facade and has dimensions of 225 x 85 x 70 mm. The threshold values for both sensors can be individually adjusted in several stages. Once the wind sensor is triggered, the motor remains locked during the entire wind alert phase, preventing accidental retraction via remote control or sun command. The sun sensor triggers a full extension after 5 minutes of sustained exceeding of the set threshold. One sensor can control multiple awning drives that are in close proximity simultaneously. The sensor is powered by an integrated solar panel. Without sufficient sunlight, the sensor can be powered by the built-in batteries for up to 2 weeks. If the battery voltage drops too low, the sensor triggers an automatic retraction and locks the motor until the batteries can provide sufficient voltage again. Radio frequency: 433 MHz.
