The Ka-Bar Black Tanto military knife is a modernized version of the popular model 1217. The partially serrated edge of this tactical knife makes it easier to cut ropes and straps, and the tanto profile blade offers better penetration capabilities.

The knife features a hidden tang design made from high-quality 1095 Cro-Van tool steel, constructed to ensure combined combat and utility performance. The blade of the Ka-Bar Black Tanto is black and non-reflective, further emphasizing the military character of the knife.

The handle is made from slip-resistant Kraton and is shaped to replicate the original form of the grip. It is ergonomic and provides a secure hold even in wet or dirty conditions. The high steel guard ensures user safety and prevents the hand from slipping onto the blade.

Along with the knife, the user receives a durable black Kydex sheath, allowing for convenient carry on a tactical belt.
