The Kukri Machete is a robust knife designed for the wilderness, inspired by the original widely used by the Gurkhas in Nepal. The Kukri Machete is perfect for chopping tasks. This KA-BAR Combat Kukri features the same Kraton handle you know from other KA-BAR knives. It is super comfortable to hold, even in icy cold conditions. The blade, with its generous belly, is made from 1095 carbon steel. While it is not rust-resistant, it is easy to sharpen. More importantly, it can withstand a lot of use. You can use it to carve a path through dense vegetation or to chop small branches. A nylon sheath with a plastic insert is included for carrying the KA-BAR Kukri Machete. Technical details:
