This combined single rod measuring chain (platinum and reference electrode in one shaft) features a dirt-repellent glass fiber bundle with polymerized solid electrolyte. A double chamber with double diaphragm sealing prevents electrode poisons such as sulfides, amines, or chromates from damaging the reference electrode. The additional salt reservoir in the form of rings enhances the lifespan in media with lower ion concentrations or at high flow rates.

The single rod measuring chain has been specifically designed for use in chromate reduction, nitrite oxidation, swimming pool, and drinking water disinfection with slightly contaminated media. It is suitable for a redox range of plus/minus 1500 mV and has a temperature resistance of -5 to +90 °C. The installation length is 120 mm.
