The ultrasonic defense is mobile. A set of batteries (6x AAA Micro per device, included in delivery) has a service life of up to 8 months.
The device emits high-pitched tones at intervals (approx. 5 sec. on and approx. 25 sec. off time). The signals are not audible to humans, but have a disturbing effect on dogs and cats.
The alternating frequency reduces the habituation effect, thus the defense function is not interrupted. To drive away animals that habitually visit a place, 7-14 days can pass.
The effective area covers about 40 square meters per device. The cat and dog deterrent is particularly suitable for outdoor use.
