Painting sponges are an essential tool for creative work with color. The round sponges are soft, absorbent, and comfortable to hold.

The painting sponges are simply dipped in paint. Afterwards, you can paint large areas with the color. When priming the painting surface with painting sponges, you avoid the typical streaky texture that brushes can leave.

For a blended look or for subtly dabbing on color, a painting sponge is always very helpful. You can work with both a wet and a dry sponge. Before painting with the sponge, it is advisable to quickly test the appearance on a sheet of paper.
