Homematic IP Key remote control - Access

The remote control replaces the conventional key and allows access to the smart home with just the push of a button. It is the ideal complement to the Homematic IP door lock drive. The handy keychain remote controls the Homematic IP door lock drive, enabling the unlocking, locking, and opening of the front door. The additional light button can be used, for example, to turn the lighting in the entrance area on and off.

The smart replacement for the front door key: A key to open the door becomes unnecessary with the remote control, and controlling the front door is incredibly easy with just a button press. Thanks to configurable access permissions, each remote can be assigned an individual profile. For instance, cleaning staff can be allowed entry only at specific times.

Practical remote for your keychain: Thanks to its compact design, the small remote fits into any pocket or on your keychain. This allows for flexible use at home, outdoors, or in the car when returning home. If the remote is ever lost while out, it can easily be locked via the app.

Powerful and robust: The particularly high radio range of up to 200 meters allows for opening the front door even while approaching it. The housing made of halogen-free, fiberglass-reinforced plastic makes the remote particularly durable and capable of withstanding a wide temperature range. Each button press is confirmed directly by the integrated multicolor LED.
