Convenient locking, unlocking, and opening of the front door is now possible anytime, whether you're on the go or relaxing on the sofa, simply through the Homematic IP app or the remote control on your keychain. Another advantage is the secure locking of the door via voice control with Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant. Thanks to configurable access permissions, access to the smart home can be managed individually, regardless of the day of the week or the time of day. The front door can only be opened when the resident desires it, allowing cleaning staff or care services to enter the house at specific times using the remote control on the keychain. The app also logs which door was opened and when, making time-dependent locking unnecessary. At a desired time, the front door can be automatically locked, enhancing security in the smart home and saving unnecessary trips to the door. For added security, the front door can be set to automatically re-lock after each unlocking, with the time and delay settings adjustable via the app. The door lock drive benefits from the VDE-certified protocol as well as IT and data security of the Homematic IP system. Due to its installation on the inside of the door, the device is not visible from the outside. It can be easily mounted on standard profile cylinders with emergency and danger functions without damaging the door, frame, or key. The battery operation requires no wiring. For installation, the lock cylinder must protrude 8-15 mm on the inside of the door. Up to 8 access permissions with individual time profiles can be created per door lock drive. Manual opening and closing is always possible with the knob (emergency function), and the door can still be opened from the outside with a regular key. Personal PINs protect against unintentional operation via the app.
