The DB 1202 lathe with a center width of 1185mm features a torsion-resistant cast iron machine bed, ensuring high running smoothness and precision. Both the tailstock and headstock are constructed from sturdy cast iron. The drive can be moved freely on the workbench. The tailstock includes a quick-release lever and handwheel, along with an accompanying center punch as standard. The tailstock quill has a bore for machining long workpieces. It offers variable speed regulation in 10 steps, divided into two speed levels: 0-3200 min-1 and 0-3200 min-1. A frequency converter allows for infinitely variable speed regulation and includes a motor protection switch. There is also a switch for selecting clockwise or counterclockwise rotation, as well as an emergency stop switch. The headstock is rotatable, making it ideal for turning large diameters.
