The Hepco & Becker Chicago Case features an extremely heavy-duty design suitable for air travel. It is made of HDPE with a hardened and powder-coated aluminum frame. The high-impact-resistant shell includes extra reinforcement through a ribbed design and impact bumpers to protect the handle and locks. It has automatically retracted handles, screwed metal locks, an additional combination lock, and a hasp for a padlock. The hinge runs along the entire case width, and the shell is riveted to the frame more than 20 times. The integrated trolley system includes inline-skate wheels and stable lid holders. The bottom area is completely empty for carrying large electrical equipment (tools not included).

The case includes 1 tool pallet with 24 tool holders on the front, 11 tool holders, and 18 elastic loops, along with a document wallet on the back. There is also 1 cover plate with 18 tool holders and 7 elastic loops.
