Helle Mandra FG Messer

When Helle decided to produce a knife with a completely flat grind, the Mandra was the obvious choice. It is small, well proportioned and has a blade shape that invites you to cut. It fits in your pocket, on your belt or around your neck and is always at hand when you need to harvest, slice, dice or cook - the new Mandra FG is the ultimate all-round knife for hikers who enjoy the food breaks as much as the hike itself.

While the Mandra's standard Scandi grind is good for most tasks, the Mandra FG is especially suited for slicing. Whether you're harvesting mushrooms or chopping them on your chopping board, the 12C27 blade of the new Mandra FG ensures you can cut cleanly and well. Although it has the same shape, the handle is slightly thicker than the standard Mandra because the white inlays are thicker. This creates a very balanced blade that you can work with for a long time.

The Mandra FG comes with a light brown leather sheath with a press stud for secure fastening. The white stitching matches the colour of the liner of the knife.

The original Mandra was the third knife developed in collaboration with "Survivorman" Les Stroud. The name Mândra means "proud" in Romanian.
