Helios VDW EC 355

Vertical EC roof fan with an efficient, optimized aluminum housing and newly developed high-performance centrifugal wheel. The housing is made of seawater-resistant aluminum with integrated intrusion protection. The motor support plate and the base plate with inlet nozzle are made of galvanized steel. The base plate features threaded screws for mounting suction-side accessories, according to the hole pattern specified in DIN 24155, Sheet 3. A protective grille is standard on the outlet side in accordance with DIN EN ISO 13857. The high-performance centrifugal wheel has backward-curved blades made of plastic and is dynamically balanced according to DIN ISO 1940-1. This fan is equipped with an energy-saving, speed-controllable EC external rotor motor in a closed design with IP 54 protection class for maximum efficiency. It is ball-bearing mounted with moisture protection insulation, maintenance-free, and trouble-free. An integrated electronic temperature monitoring system is provided for the EC motor and electronics. The fan includes a standard external connection box, an external inspection switch with IP 65 protection, and an internal potentiometer for adjusting the control voltage, allowing for any fan speed between minimum and maximum. Continuous speed control is available with an external potentiometer or via a universal control system.
