Vertical discharge EC roof fan with efficiency-optimized aluminum housing and a newly developed high-performance centrifugal impeller. The housing is made of seawater-resistant aluminum with integrated intrusion protection. The motor support plate and base plate with inlet nozzle are made of galvanized steel. The base plate features threaded screws for attaching suction-side accessories, with a hole pattern to DIN 24155, sheet 3. A protective grille is standard on the outlet side in accordance with DIN EN ISO 13857. The high-performance centrifugal impeller has backward curved blades made of plastic and is dynamically balanced in accordance with DIN ISO 1940-1. It includes an energy-saving, speed-controllable EC external rotor motor in an enclosed design with IP 54 rating for maximum efficiency. The fan is ball bearing mounted with moisture protection insulation, maintenance-free, and interference-free. It has integrated electronic temperature monitoring for the EC motor and electronics. The fan comes with an external terminal box as standard, an external inspection switch with IP 65 protection, and an internal potentiometer for setting the control voltage, allowing for any fan speed between minimum and maximum. It offers stepless speed control with an external potentiometer or a universal control system.
