The Helios Ventilatoren VDD 200/4 EX roof fan features a vertical discharge design with efficiency-optimised aluminium housing and a newly developed high-performance radial impeller, explosion-proof to ATEX. The housing is made of seawater-resistant aluminium with integrated anti-intrusion protection. The motor support plate and base plate are made of galvanised steel with an aluminium inlet nozzle. The base plate includes a threaded screw for mounting suction-side accessories, following the hole pattern according to DIN 24155, sheet 3. A guard grille is standard on the discharge side in accordance with DIN EN ISO 13857. The high-performance radial impeller has backward curved blades made of aluminium and is dynamically balanced according to DIN ISO 1940-1. It features a speed-controllable three-phase external rotor motor in an enclosed design to IP44, with ball bearings that have moisture protection insulation. The fan is maintenance-free and interference-free, and the Ex-version complies with ATEX.
