The HECO-TOPIX-plus floor screw pulls the wooden components together and simultaneously fixes them axially via the thread. This not only allows for quick and cost-effective assembly but also reliably prevents annoying squeaking of the wooden surface at the screw shaft. Since the loads are transmitted through the thread, the head is only needed to accommodate a drive and can therefore be made very small. It can be used space-savingly in tight installation environments of tongue and groove and does not protrude into the adjacent component. This ensures a precise connection of the profile timbers. In addition to the head and thread, the HECO-TOPIX tip offers another advantage when working with tongue and groove: the patented HECO-TOPIX drill tip reduces splitting effects, making it possible to use it in the thinnest cross-sections with minimal edge distances.
