Heco Rod dowel WS-T

The WS-T stud dowel from HECO is an innovative fastening element specifically designed for the efficient creation of steel-to-wood connections. With the HECO®-WS system, high-quality connections can be achieved in a single operation without the need for pre-drilling in the wood. The self-drilling dowel enables penetration through up to three steel plates, each with a thickness of 5 mm, or a single steel plate with a thickness of up to 10 mm (grade S235). Meanwhile, the wood surface on the backside remains intact, which is particularly advantageous when creating timber frame joints. The workflow is significantly simplified by the precise fitting, aligning, and securing of the plate. The stud dowel impresses with its robust construction and the use of galvanized, blue passivated steel, which ensures high corrosion resistance.
