Hammerite Metal protective lacquer matt black

Hammerite Direct-to-Rust Metal Protection Paint is a primer, undercoat, and topcoat all in one. DUALTECH provides double protection: water beads off and rust is stopped, allowing the metal to remain durable for longer.

Preparation: Sand smooth surfaces, remove loose rust and flaking old paint with a wire brush. Clean dirt, dust, and grease residues with diluted detergent. Rinse with clear water and allow to dry thoroughly. Apply Hammerite Direct-to-Rust Metal Protection Paint to a small, already painted area and let it dry for 1 hour. If there is no reaction, apply Hammerite Direct-to-Rust Metal Protection Paint to the entire surface. If a reaction occurs, remove all old paint before application. For bare zinc, aluminum, and galvanized surfaces, treat the respective surfaces with Hammerite Special Adhesion Primer before application.

Application: Brush application, ideal processing temperature is 11°C to 25°C. Stir lightly before use. Apply undiluted. For pre-painted metal surfaces in good condition, one coat is sufficient. For bare, rusty metal, two coats are required. Ensure that all corners and edges are well covered. Do not apply too thickly, as this may lead to running.

Contains: Alkyd resin, solvents, fillers, pigments, additives. After approximately 1 to 2 hours, it is dust dry (spray can may vary). Repaintable after 4 hours (spray can may vary). Coverage: 1 liter covers approximately 5 m² (spray can may vary).
