Surface-mounted small distribution box made of plastic, in accordance with DIN VDE 60670-24 and DIN 43871, suitable for use in residential buildings according to DIN 18015 and for the installation of VDI components with protective insulation. Protection class IP30, protection class II with protective insulation. Comprising a plastic base plate with a standard cable holder, a ventilation door made of powder-coated and baked steel sheet, flush-mounted with internal manual hinges. The door features a lock with a flush handle recess and an automatically retractable handle, with the door hinge being positionable on the right or left. The upper connection compartment includes a patch panel and an insulated DIN rail that is plugged in to accommodate various communication modules, with two screw connections on the patch panel for the required functional grounding according to DIN EN 50310. There is a labeling option with an included labeling strip for port labeling. Prefabricated, perforated mounting plates made of galvanized steel sheet with 3.2 mm perforation are included in the delivery.
