Universal Dimmer Actuator 3-fold KNX easy, 3x300W, ESL/LED. The Universal Dimmer Actuator REG is used for switching and dimming and automatically detects the load type (autodetect method). With the Easydetect method, the dimming range is optimized either by pressing a button on the external sensor, on the device, or via an object. It is a rail-mounted device with an integrated bus coupler, QuickConnect terminals for auxiliary voltage, KNX bus connection, load connection, and labeling field.

The device features control buttons for manual operation with status LED (single-surface operation) as well as a backlit dimming mode button. Control LEDs indicate short circuit, overload protection, and overheating protection. A slide switch allows selection between auto/min/max/manual, and there is a backlit programming button.

Functions include switching and dimming of loads (refer to manufacturer specifications), dimming channel selection for dimming, on/off, timer function with switch-off pre-warning, forced control with status display, and a de/activatable automatic function. Up to 64 scene functions can be set per channel. Manual operation for switching and dimming is also possible without a bus. The status object of the output is defined by the current flow through the light source.

Note: The device can be programmed with the easy commissioning tool, the easy configuration server, or ETS (from version 4). Conventional transformers must not be connected together with electronic transformers.
