The electronic locking cylinder eLock combines the security and reliability of proven mechanics with the smart convenience of digital technology. Users and building managers benefit from a comfortable and clear access control solution. The smart locking cylinder offers modern convenience, allowing users to open all doors they have access to via an app on their smartphone. Alternatively, a transponder can be used. All keys to authorized areas are centrally located on the smartphone or transponder. As an administrator, access permissions can be activated or blocked in seconds using the eLockApp. Up to 250 users and 25 locks can be managed within the app. Updated permissions are transferred to the corresponding locking cylinders using a programming card. Status information, such as access logs, events, or energy levels, is also accessible in the app. Communication occurs via Bluetooth®, and network cabling is not required. Data security during the information exchange between the cylinder and the app is ensured through the AES 128 encryption method. Keys and locking cylinders communicate using Bluetooth® Wireless Technology. Administrators can add new users with the help of the programming card.
