The GOYERRNES thickness gauge GR-2001 combines the latest measurement principles of electromagnetic induction and the eddy current effect in a compact, portable instrument. With the integrated F- and N-probe, it automatically detects the properties of base substrates and enables non-destructive measurement of the thickness of various paints, coatings, and films on metal substrates. A measurement range of 0 to 1500 micrometers is paired with an exceptional accuracy of ± 2.5 % + 1 micrometer, with a resolution accurate to 0.01 micrometer. The generous LCD display provides a clear indication of metal type, operating mode, battery status, and measurement values, and is easy to use despite the technical complexity. Included in the package, in addition to the device itself, are five calibration tables for precise adjustment, a manual for an introduction to operation, and four AAA batteries for immediate use.
