The high-precision luminance meter for surface measurement is classified in Class B according to DIN 5032-7, IEC 13032-1 Annex B and CIE 69. It measures the brightness effect of a luminous surface in candela per square meter (cd(m²) or footLampert (fL). The excellent match to the spectral brightness perception of the human eye V(λ) with the small deviation of f1' < 3 % is much better than the requirement from the standard. Pressing the HOLD button saves the value, activates the existing display illumination and allows reading in dark environments. The adapter disk included in the scope of delivery protects against incident light from the side during measurement and the velvety coating prevents scratches on the self-illuminating or transilluminated surface.
