Sensotec LED System 55 with remote control, color aluminum. The detection uses the Doppler effect, similar to speed measurement in road traffic. Motion detection can also occur through non-shielding materials. For example, a single Sensotec could cover toilet facilities.

Features: Contactless switching prevents contamination. This eliminates the risk of contamination by viruses and bacteria from the user. Detection in both near and far ranges depends on the reflective surface, the speed, and the type of object (person, animal, item, etc.). Metal frames influence the detection range.

Extension of the detection range through auxiliary units. Auxiliary unit operation with a rocker switch. Requires an IR remote control for commissioning and setting various functions. Individual brightness level and delay time possible (Teach function). Sensitivity of the remote detection is adjustable. Mounting in a deep device box.

Meets the requirements of the VDI VDE 6008 Sheet 3 guideline. The Sensotec LED is an active motion detector. It detects movements in the detection area independently of temperature and switches on the LED orientation light, depending on the ambient brightness. Motion in the near range, for example, turns on the room lighting. The switching brightness of the LED orientation light is adjustable.
