Gira Steuergerät

The audio DRA control device supplies the audio components of the Gira door communication bus. It supplies the reverse-polarity protected and short-circuit-proof 2-wire bus. It has self-resetting electronic short-circuit and overload detection of the operating voltages and the bus connection.

Buttons for system and door opener programming as well as LED status displays for operation, overload, system programming and door opener programming are available. The AC 12 V output is used to supply power to a standard electric strike. A relay output enables the switching of a door opener with its own power supply. The electric strike switching time is infinitely adjustable from 1 to 10 seconds.

Notes: The audio control device is intended for installation in the sub-distribution. If this is not possible, use a standard surface-mounted distributor. This component can be used to set up door communication systems with up to 70 users (e.g. 1 x built-in loudspeaker, 5 x extension module for built-in loudspeakers, 68 x surface-mounted home station).
