Motion detector attachment 1.10 m standard for KNX in aluminum color. The sensitivity can be adjusted via a control knob on the device. There is a display for motion detection, which can operate continuously or only during a walk test. A function block is configurable. The function block can be configured for the applications "Guardian," "Guardian with cutoff brightness," or "Detector."

The function block has two output communication objects available, through which the switching and control commands are sent to the KNX bus. Configurable functions include switching, stairwell function, dimmer value transmitter, scene secondary station, temperature value transmitter, brightness value transmitter, operating mode switching, and forced switching.

The mode switching (OFF / AUTO / ON) can be performed during operation via local control or through communication objects. Local control at additional KNX motion detectors is also possible via a touch sensor for KNX or visualization.

In brightness-independent operation, the function block can determine the time span after the last motion and send it via a communication object to the KNX bus. This function allows for easy monitoring of people’s movements in assisted living or in a senior residence.

The operation of motion detection is adjustable for the applications "Guardian" or "Guardian with cutoff brightness." The device can be used in these applications as a standalone device, main station, or secondary station. A walk test function assists in the planning and adjustment of the PIR detection area.
