The Gerber Compact Clearpath is a compact machete. Compact, yet effective. The 28.5 cm long blade is relatively short for a machete, which means it takes up less space in your backpack. The handle is sturdy and very lightweight. A core made of fiberglass-reinforced nylon is complemented by a rubber grip, ensuring that this machete will never slip from your hand.

The blade is made of stainless steel. It is not incredibly sharp, but a machete does not need to be razor-sharp. The spine of the blade features a nice row of serrations. If you can't cut through a branch with the machete, you can always use the saw. Gerber notes that you can use the saw for branches up to 2.5 cm.

The Gerber Compact Clearpath comes with a nylon sheath, so you can carry it safely!
