The device is water-resistant according to IPX7 and has been developed to meet US military standard 810 for thermal performance and shock resistance. The 5.5-inch ultra-bright display of the Tread navigator is operable with gloves and is easily readable in bright sunlight or darkness. The device can be mounted in portrait or landscape orientation. Use trail navigation with audible turn-by-turn directions for riding on unpaved roads, trails, and snowmobile paths, utilizing map content from OSM maps for off-road routes and trails. The Tread comes preloaded with topographic and road maps of Europe, Africa (including Tracks4Africa), the Middle East, North and South America, as well as Australia and New Zealand.
