The emergency power buffering ensures that sufficient energy is always available to move the locking bolt into the locked position even in the event of a power failure (mandatory for fire protection systems). As long as there is no mains voltage available, the emergency power buffering blocks electrical control. Upon startup or return of mains voltage, the lock control is immediately restored.
