DIN 6434, made of chrome-vanadium air-hardening steel, suitable for rivets to DIN 660, 661, 662, and 674. Octagonal shank, fully tempered, ground, and polished. Impact head tempering to DIN standard largely eliminates chipping and bulge formation.
