Product details

The FLIR MR06 cavity probe enhances the functionality of FLIR moisture meters by directly measuring insulation moisture in cavity walls and within exterior walls. This accessory tool features newly designed insulated measuring tips with a reduced diameter, requiring minimal insertion force with low material impact. The sandblasted, hardened steel tips have a one-piece construction that prevents bending and provides an improved contact area for lasting insulation. The insulation extends fully to the probe connection point, ensuring that even when the tips are fully inserted into wall cavities, drywall does not affect measurement accuracy. Compatible with FLIR MR77, MR160, and MR176 moisture meters, the probe is available in two convenient lengths: 11.5 cm and 16.5 cm (approximately 4.5 inches and 6.5 inches). Made from durable materials in a black finish, this unit offers reliable performance for professional moisture measurement applications. The MR06 model represents a successor to previous cavity probe designs, integrating improvements in tip design and insulation coverage for more precise moisture readings in building materials.
