The Fischer Universal Plug UX is a plastic plug made from high-quality nylon. The Fischer Universal Plug expands in solid materials and knots in hollow and panel materials for maximum hold. This makes the Fischer UX always the right choice, even with an unknown building material. In the version without a collar, the Fischer Universal Plug UX is suitable for through-mounting.

Advantages: The universal functional principle (knotting or expanding) allows for use in all solid, hollow, and panel materials. Therefore, the UX is the right choice for unknown anchoring bases. The angled connecting ribs of the UX ensure optimal screw guidance. Sawtooth-shaped anti-rotation features prevent twisting in the drill hole, ensuring maximum installation safety. Fastening sets with screws, eyes, and hooks provide the right solution for all applications.

Applications: Pictures, lights, baseboards, light wall cabinets, towel holders, mirror cabinets, curtain tracks, sink mountings, TV consoles, sanitary/heating/air conditioning mountings.

Building materials: Concrete, drywall and gypsum fiberboards, high-hole bricks, hollow blocks made of lightweight concrete, hollow ceilings made of brick and concrete, lime-sand hollow stone, lime-sand solid stone, natural stone, aerated concrete, particle boards, solid gypsum boards, solid lightweight concrete bricks, solid bricks.

Functionality: The UX with collar is suitable for pre-insertion mounting. When the screw is turned in, the UX expands in solid material and knots in the hollow space. The required screw length is determined by the plug length plus the thickness of the mounting part plus 1 times the screw diameter. Suitable for wood and particle board screws as well as lag screws. In panel materials, the unthreaded part of the screw must not be longer than the mounting part, and the UX with collar must be used. The collar distance must be at least one plug length.
