The ETA-approved Fischer Putzdübel FIF-CS is ideal for securely fastening pressure-resistant insulation materials up to 340 mm thick for thermal insulation systems such as polystyrene insulation boards or mineral wool boards in concrete, solid and hollow blocks, lightweight aggregate concrete, and aerated concrete. The uniform setting depth for all building materials simplifies installation. The screw anchor consists of a gray anchor sleeve with an attached octagonal plate and a compound screw. The compound screw minimizes thermal bridging, preventing anchor marks on the facade. The FIF-CS 8 is installed using a standard screwdriver.
Advantages: The compound screw (steel-plastic combination) minimizes thermal bridging, eliminating anchor marks on the facade. A minimal embedment depth of 35 mm in the load-bearing substrate ensures low drill wear and reduces drilling time. When mounted flush with the insulation, the very thin plate allows for optimal fitting against the insulation board and the application of thin reinforcement layers. Suitable for insulation thicknesses up to 340 mm and a consistent embedment depth for all building materials.
Application: Fastening of ETICS insulation boards on concrete and masonry, flush mounting in all common types of insulation materials.
Building materials: Building material classes A, B, C, D, E, concrete, masonry bricks, calcium silicate solid bricks, lightweight concrete hollow blocks, high-hole bricks, calcium silicate hollow bricks, lightweight aggregate concrete, aerated concrete.
Functionality: The fastener is inserted through the insulation into the drill hole and then screwed in. Lengths 8/60 to 8/180 with a standard T30 bit, lengths 8/200 to 8/300 with a standard T25 bit for lengths over 180 mm.
