Through additional modules, the device can be integrated into the Wi-Safe 2 network or Z-Wave and Zigbee smart home systems. Once the sensor is connected to a specific sensor for WiSafe 2, Z-Wave, or Zigbee networks, it becomes part of the hazard warning system. If any of the connected sensors detects a danger, the alarm is activated on all sensors, increasing user safety. The combination of an optical sensor and a thermal sensor allows for early detection of risks and helps identify their source to prevent fire or fire spread. The device has higher sensitivity and nearly twice as short a response time to the smoke source. End of operation and low battery status are indicated by a test/reset button. The built-in lithium battery does not need to be replaced or charged throughout its use.
