Gas detector for propane and butane LPG-9B-INT
Liquefied gases such as propane and butane are primarily used in camping as cooking gas and for mobile heating sources. Even today, propane is sometimes used in gas tanks behind houses as a heating material. When measuring gas, it is important to determine which gas is to be detected. Unlike city and natural gas, liquefied gases are heavier than air and settle close to the ground. Therefore, the LPG-9B-INT is correctly positioned about 30 cm off the ground.
This gas detector is easy to install and can be retrofitted without any issues, as it continuously detects the concentration of liquefied gases in the air without requiring a mains power supply. As a mobile, battery-operated device, it provides safe protection against unnoticed gas leaks in motorhomes, garages, and conservatories. Especially in areas where people do not stay permanently, a warning detector should monitor the gas concentration in the air.
