Round profile cylinder of the DSNU series with adjustable pneumatic cushioning. The Festo round profile pneumatic cylinder of the DSNU series offers excellent performance and long service life. It features a stainless steel piston rod and options for external and internal threads. A wide range of accessories allows for the installation of DSNU cylinders practically anywhere. The adjustable pneumatic cushioning ensures that cylinders of type PPV absorb energy at the end positions by building up and releasing an air cushion in a controlled manner. This enables a high level of energy absorption while simultaneously reducing noise. The manual adjustment screw allows for fine-tuning for the specific application.

Application information:
The DSNU pneumatic cylinders with self-adjusting cushioning are equipped with a special cushioning piston as an extension of the main piston. This relatively long cushioning piston builds up an air cushion in the connection cap before the end position. Due to this energy-absorbing method, these cylinders are ideal for medium to heavy loads and high-speed applications.
