Round Profile Cylinder Series DSNU – adjustable pneumatic damping. The Festo round profile pneumatic cylinder of the DSNU series offers excellent performance and long service life. It features a stainless steel piston rod and options for external and internal threads. A wide range of accessories allows for the installation of DSNU cylinders virtually anywhere. Adjustable pneumatic damping. Cylinders of type PPV with adjustable damping absorb energy at the end positions through the targeted buildup and release of an air cushion. This enables a high degree of energy absorption while simultaneously reducing noise. The manual adjustment screw allows for fine-tuning for the specific application.

Application Information:
The DSNU pneumatic cylinders with self-adjusting damping are equipped with a special damping piston as an extension of the main piston. This relatively long damping piston builds up an air cushion in the connection cap before the end position. Due to this energy-absorbing method, these cylinders are ideal for medium to heavy loads and high-speed applications.
