The pneumatic cylinder ADN ISO 21287 features pneumatic cushioning. FESTO ADN series compact pneumatic cylinders are up to 50% smaller than standard pneumatic cylinders, maximizing productivity in limited spaces. These double-acting pneumatic actuators have two ports for compressed air to extend and retract the piston rod. The ADN series offers a wide range of stroke lengths and bore sizes, making it suitable for various applications.
The ADN series is a double-acting actuator where air is applied to extend and retract the piston in a linear motion to the desired stroke length. Magnetic piston rods provide non-contact position sensing via a proximity sensor mounted in slots along the cylinder body. The cylinders are equipped with self-adjusting pneumatic cushioning to reduce noise and vibration, extend service life, and enhance productivity.
