Pneumatic Cylinder ADN ISO 21287 – Flexible Damping. The compact pneumatic cylinders of the FESTO ADN series are up to 50% smaller than standard pneumatic cylinders, maximizing productivity in confined spaces. These double-acting pneumatic actuators feature two connections for compressed air to extend and retract the piston rod. The wide range of stroke lengths and bore sizes in the ADN series can be configured for various applications.

How a pneumatic cylinder works: The ADN series is a double-acting actuator that uses air to move the piston in a linear motion to the desired stroke length and back. Magnetic piston rods enable contactless position detection via a proximity sensor mounted along slots on the cylinder body. The cylinders are equipped with flexible polymer end damping to reduce noise and vibrations, extend service life, and enhance production and productivity.
