The Machine Tap M12 (D2-518801-0120) from Fanar is a high-performance thread cutter specifically designed for machining metric threads according to DIN-376C. This tap is ideal for use in tight spaces and is excellent for processing stainless steel as well as acid-resistant steel. Made from cobalt-alloyed high-speed steel, the tap offers increased heat resistance and wear resistance, making it a reliable tool for demanding applications. The special HL coating (TiAlN + WC/C) significantly increases surface hardness, extending the tool's lifespan and improving machining quality. With a length of 110 mm, this tap is suitable for both professional and industrial applications.
