In Norse mythology, Idun was the goddess of fertility and responsible for guarding the apples that granted the gods eternal youth. For many, she was a symbol of love and rebirth, and in a famous poem, she was referred to as the lover of the gods. Unlike the earlier knife models in the Northern Lights series, the NL 5 is slightly rounder and softer in shape. This makes it an excellent choice for a hunting knife.
