Technical Information: Hand taps are profile-ground and back-ground, made of HSS, available in various quality levels depending on requirements. No. 1 Pre-cutter for 6 - 8 thread cuts. No. 2 Intermediate cutter for 4 - 5 thread cuts. No. 3 Finishing cutter for 2 - 3 thread cuts. Technical Information - Taps: We supply taps in pre-slit (closed) design. They are suitable for general use, e.g., for steels up to 900 N/mm2.
