Safe storage of damaged and defective lithium-ion batteries. The filler material between the inner and outer container provides ideal fire protection due to its smothering and cooling effect. The base clearance allows for easy transport using a forklift or pallet truck.

These steel storage containers are designed for safe indoor and outdoor storage of damaged and defective lithium-ion batteries or lithium-ion rechargeable batteries. They feature a sturdy construction made of hot-dip galvanized sheet steel with stacking corners. The lockable cover has a spring release and handle, and there is a removable inner container with a clearance height of 100 mm.

The patented filler material PyroBubbles® (silicon dioxide granulate) between the inner and outer container offers excellent fire protection due to its smothering and cooling effect.

Please note: There are currently no approval regulations issued by DIBt Berlin. The design of the container is based on the property insurers' data sheet on handling lithium-ion rechargeable batteries. Approvals for storage containers for lithium-ion rechargeable batteries can only be applied for at a future date.
