Wireless outdoor transmission module with 2 channels. Dimensions (LxWxH): 60 x 46 x 30 mm (without mounting). With internal antenna. No standby loss. The wireless transmission module has two channels and can send wireless telegrams in the Eltako building wireless system like a wireless switch. A1 triggers a wireless telegram similar to pressing the top button of a wireless switch, and A3 like pressing the bottom button. The telegram when opening both control contacts is identical to that of a wireless switch when released. Multiple wireless transmission modules must not be activated simultaneously. For the IP54 waterproof connection, there is an M12 screw connection on the underside. Connection to an internal 5-pin terminal for the control inputs +A1/-A2 and +A3/-A2. To do this, loosen the two screws on the front and remove the cover. If terminals A1 and A3 are connected with a bridge, a wireless telegram will be sent from A3 once per minute as long as the control voltage is applied, e.g., for central commands with priority. The universal control voltage processes control commands from 8 to 253 V AC or 10 to 230 V DC with a duration of at least 0.2 seconds. The maximum parallel capacitance of the individual control lines (laid separately) is 3 nF at 230 V, which corresponds to about 10 meters. Parallel control lines (laid together) at 230 V have 0.5 nF, approximately 2 meters. The maximum parallel capacitance of the control lines is 0.03 microfarads at 12 to 24 V UC, which corresponds to about 100 meters. No continuous power supply is required, thus no standby loss. Starting from manufacturing week 48/16, the wireless telegrams can be encrypted. The internal rotary switch is needed to activate or deactivate the encryption and is in the middle position during operation. To activate encryption: turn the rotary switch to the right stop and press once. To deactivate encryption: turn the rotary switch to the left stop and press once.
