The Elmag EK F46 abrasive granulate is a high-quality reusable granulate made from pure aluminum oxide (Al2O3 > 99.6%). With a grain size of 300-425 µm, it offers excellent abrasive performance, making it ideal for various applications in surface treatment. The angular shape and high hardness of the corundum enable effective cleaning and processing of metallic surfaces, particularly in stainless steel and aluminum processing. This iron-free fine blasting medium is specifically designed for demanding applications and ensures an optimal surface finish. It can be used in both injector and pressure blasting systems and is excellent for removing rust and scale, matting surfaces, as well as for roughening and deburring workpieces. The hardness of the corundum on the Mohs scale is 9.0, highlighting its suitability for processing materials with extremely high hardness.
