DBG - 3 in 1
The drill grinding machine of the DBG series is used to grind twist drills made of HSS and carbide. Grinding stations for grinding the point angle, the clearance angle, and for cross grinding are integrated into the machine.

Special CBN or SDC diamond grinding wheels are used, depending on the drill material.

CBN coated grinding wheels deliver exceptional sharpening results at very high speed without annealing. The special thermal conductivity of the CBN (bornite crystals) dissipates the resulting frictional heat into the wheel, which prevents the hardening of the cutting edge and minimizes sparking. CBN has a higher thermal stability than diamond and is ideal for sharpening HSS tools due to its lower wear.
